East coast. NE monsoon December–April, most consistent January–March. Main season, best for beginners.
West coast, next to Nathon town and pier. SW monsoon May–October, more variable, afternoons usually best.
Lamai Beach
East Coast
Season: December–April (NE monsoon, typically 12–20 knots). Most consistent and strongest January–March.
Beach: A long sandy beach of about 4 km, with the Hin Ta & Hin Yai rocks at the south end. Water temperature 27–30°C — no wetsuit needed.
Wind direction: Northeast from December to March, turning more easterly in April.
What's here: From December to April the whole club is based at Lamai — lessons, rental, storage, e-foil, kayak and SUP. Lamai village has restaurants and accommodation for every budget.

Nathon Beach
West Coast
Season: May–October (SW monsoon, typically 10–18 knots). More variable than the Lamai season.
Location: Next to Nathon, Koh Samui's administrative town with the main ferry pier for car and passenger ferries from Donsak (Surat Thani).
Wind direction: Southwest. Afternoons are usually best.
What's here: From May to October all our lessons, rentals and water activities run at Nathon. On no-wind days we switch to e-foil, kayak and SUP.

Other popular beaches on the island — Chaweng, Bophut (Fisherman's Village) and Maenam — are great for swimming, dining and nightlife. Our school runs its kite, wing foil and water sports sessions only at our two seasonal spots, Lamai Beach and Nathon Beach.

Questions
Lamai Beach from December to April, especially January–March when the NE monsoon is most consistent. From May to October beginners learn at Nathon Beach, where the SW wind is more variable.
Almost. We ride Lamai Beach with the NE monsoon from December to April and Nathon Beach with the SW monsoon from May to October. October–November is a transition with lighter, variable wind during the rainy season; on no-wind days we run e-foil, kayak and SUP.
Koh Samui gets two monsoons. The NE monsoon (December–April) blows onto the east coast, so we ride at Lamai. The SW monsoon (May–October) favours the west coast, so the whole club — lessons, rental, storage and activities — moves to Nathon.
Those beaches are popular for swimming, dining and nightlife, but our lessons and rentals run only at Lamai Beach (Dec–Apr) and Nathon Beach (May–Oct). Ask us on WhatsApp about current conditions before riding anywhere else.
From May to October we ride the SW monsoon at Nathon Beach on the west coast. During the October–November transition wind is lighter and less predictable, so many riders switch to wing foil on lighter days or e-foil (no wind needed).
