Lamai — Our December–April Spot
Lamai is a long sandy beach, about 4 km, on the east coast of Koh Samui. From December to March the NE monsoon blows onto this coast, turning more easterly in April. Typical wind is 12–20 knots, most consistent and strongest from January to March.
From December to April the whole club is based here — kitesurfing, wing foil, windsurfing and e-foil lessons, plus kayak and SUP, rental and storage. On days without enough wind we switch to e-foil, kayak and SUP.
The famous Hin Ta & Hin Yai rocks sit at the south end of the beach, and Lamai village behind it has restaurants and accommodation for every budget. Water is 27–30°C all year — no wetsuit needed.
Location & Access
Lamai Beach is about 30 minutes by car from Samui International Airport (USM), which has direct flights from Bangkok. Taxis, songthaews, scooter rental and Grab/Bolt all serve Lamai.

Yes. From December to April our Discovery, Full Beginner and Independent courses all run at Lamai. Instructors choose session times and kite sizes to match the day's wind, and you get the exact meeting point on WhatsApp.
NE monsoon from December to March, turning more easterly in April — typically 12–20 knots. From May to October the wind switches to SW, so the whole club moves to Nathon Beach on the west coast.
