Nathon — Our May–October Spot
Nathon Beach is on the west coast of Koh Samui, next to Nathon — the island's administrative town with the main ferry pier. From May to October the SW monsoon blows here, typically 10–18 knots. It is more variable than the Lamai season, and afternoons are usually best.
From May to October the whole club is based here — kitesurfing, wing foil, windsurfing and e-foil lessons, plus kayak and SUP, rental and storage. Instructors pick session times and kite sizes to match the day's wind; on days without enough wind we switch to e-foil, kayak and SUP.
Water is 27–30°C all year — no wetsuit needed. Nathon town has restaurants, markets and shops, and the west coast is known for its sunsets.
Location & Access
Nathon Beach is about 40 minutes by car from Samui International Airport (USM) and 30–40 minutes from Lamai. If you arrive by ferry from Donsak (Surat Thani), you land at Nathon pier, right next to the spot. Taxis, songthaews, scooter rental and Grab/Bolt all serve Nathon.

Coming between December and April? We are at Lamai Beach on the east coast — the most consistent wind of the year, especially January–March.
Nathon Beach Spot FAQ
Yes. From May to October all our courses, including Discovery and Full Beginner, run at Nathon. The SW monsoon is more variable than the Lamai season, so keep a little flexibility in your schedule — instructors plan sessions around the best wind of the day.
Koh Samui gets two monsoons. The NE monsoon (December–April) blows onto the east coast, so we ride at Lamai Beach. The SW monsoon (May–October) favours the west coast, so the whole club — lessons, rental, storage and activities — moves to Nathon Beach.
