An e-foil is an electric hydrofoil board with a motor under the water. A handheld wireless remote controls speed. No wind or waves needed: the motor generates lift and the board flies above the surface. It is the most accessible foiling discipline.

No. E-foil is 100% electric and fully independent of wind and waves. It works in any calm water: sea, bay, or river. This makes it ideal for Koh Samui on no-wind days.

45-90 minutes depending on rider weight and speed. During a 60-minute E-Foil Lesson you typically get 50-55 minutes of actual riding, with a few minutes for briefing and setup.

Most riders get their first foil lift during their first E-Foil Lesson. The Intro (30 min, 2,000 THB) focuses on balance and basic motor control. The E-Foil Lesson (60 min, 3,500 THB first lesson, 3,000 THB repeat) is where most riders get sustained foil flight. Riders who want more time can book the Freedom package (5 hours, 13,000 THB) to progress toward independent riding.

E-foil has a spinning propeller which requires respect. All sessions start with a safety briefing. The kill switch on the remote stops the motor instantly if released. We teach in calm water away from swimmers. The main risk is falling, which is a gentle water entry at low speed.

Anyone comfortable in the water. E-foil is particularly popular with: riders on wind-free days, families (children 12+), older riders wanting foiling without physical exertion, and kitesurfers wanting to experience foiling.

Full e-foil setup: Fliteboard or Lift e-foil board, mast, electric motor pod, front wing, wireless remote, and impact vest. Helmet is provided and recommended. You need only swimwear and a rash guard.

Yes. Children from age 12 can try e-foiling with parental supervision. The remote allows easy speed control so the instructor can adjust power for younger riders. Children must be comfortable in open water.
